Address | Via per Armeno |
From Pettenasco the road climbs towards the characteristic railway bridge, following a strange curved trail.
The bridge marks the gateway of the Pescone Valley, also called Val Fata. Immediately on the left there is a path that goes up to Pratolungo along the way called "Prea Grosa".
After 100 m there are two bridges: the ancient one is in stone and is marked by a small chapel; the other, more recent, is open also to vehicles. You reach the source of Paganetto.
Going straight and walking through the Pescone Valley finally you get to Armeno. From there the more trained ones can continue towards The Mottarone.
